3 Facts About Me

  1. I love police/ crime related television shows. Currently I’ve been binge watching Flint Town on Netflix all about the police force in Flint, Michigan. It’s super interesting, and I prefer the documentary-style of the show so I would definitely recommend it if you’re into that sort of thing.
  2. I’m addicted to Iced Capps from Tim Hortons. For anyone who doesn’t know what that is, it’s a coffee chain in Canada and the United States. Iced capps are a blended frozen coffee drink- it’s kind of like a coffee slushie and I am obsessed.
  3. I always put a smiley face on my hamburgers with ketchup or mustard (or both) before putting the bun on top. I don’t know why I do it or when I started and sometimes I don’t even realize I’ve done it until later; I guess it’s become a force of habit.

Lacey’s Questions

What’s a book that’s heavily influenced or impacted your life?

To Kill a Mockingbird. I read that in grade 9 and it was one of the first books whose message really had a strong impact on me. It’s crazy that after all this time that the book has been out, the morals and lessons you can take away from it today still remain. I think we as a society still have a very long way to go, but if books like this can change even just one person’s outlook, I think we have hope.

If you had the option to spend a day in the life of an animal, what animal would you chose?

This is such a good question! I think I would want to be a dolphin. Firstly because I would love to feel what it’s like to live under water, but also because dolphins are highly intelligent and have acute eyesight and hearing; I wonder what it’s like to be that aware of my surroundings under water.

What snack do you wish you were eating right now?

Crunchy Cheddar Jalapeño Cheetos.

If you could only read one book for the rest of your life, what book would you chose?

Since You’ve Been Gone by Morgan Matson.

If you had to tell the story of your life in five songs, which songs would you choose?

Once in a While – Timeflies

Young – Emma Gatsby

Why Not – Hilary Duff

Sway – Danielle Bradbery

Place We Were Made – Maisie Peters

My Questions

What was your favourite picture book as a child?

If you could travel to one world you’ve read about in a book, which would it be and why?

What is your favourite book turned movie?

What are you most thankful for at the moment?

And, I liked Lacey’s question about songs, so I’m going to ask it again:
If you had to tell the story of your life in five songs, which songs would you choose?

Literally anyone can feel free to do this tag even if I haven’t physically tagged you. The reason I didn’t tag more people is because I’ve been doing quite a few of these lately and don’t want people to feel pressured to participate. So please also don’t feel pressured to do this tag, it’s completely voluntary!

  1. That’s so great that TKAM was so impactfu on you! I also read it in 9th grade and the message stuck with me as too. Also, being a dolphin does sound quite fun 😆
